About the job
Within SM.I.LE80 engineering organization we are looking for a DevOps engineer who can actively and effectively contribute to the evolution of SM.I.LE80 product infrastructure and deployment architecture, SDLC automation and support, bringing in his experience and willing to learn about the unique blend of robotics, software engineering, automation and networking we have. Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, implementation, optimization of the CI/CD pipeline.

Contribute to the development of the necessary infrastructure to manage & monitor our software products deployment

Contribute to the design, development and administration of our future cloud based offering

Support internal development and customer services teams for what concerns advanced troubleshooting, profiling, critical issues triaging, etc.
Requirements
Technical
- Master Degree in software/computer science engineering or equivalent
- 8+ years of working experience in the devops/IT and software automation space
- Extensive working experience with Microsoft Windows Server & Linux systems (RedHat, Ubuntu) systems administration. Knowledge of advanced configurations such as clustering and internals.
- Extensive working experience with of Relational Databases/SQL (Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL). Ability to manage advanced configurations such as always-on / clustering
- Working experience with virtualization systems such as vmware vSphere
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Bash shell, Power shell etc
- Working experience with software automation servers such as Azure DevOps/Jenkins, with YAML based pipelines
- Proficiency with infrastructure as a code languages such as Ansible, Terraform, Terragrunt
- Working experience with containers and related administration (docker / podman), including orchestrators (kubernetes, docker-swarm, etc)
- Working experience with multi-tier distributed application, SOA, microservices and related infra tecnologies such as message brokers (RabbitMq), REST apis, distributed caching, gRPC, NGIX / load balancing, etc
- Working experience with performance/scale testing and profiling tecniques
Non Technical
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle customer issues
- Provided technical support for teams for applications deployments and troubleshooting
Other Qualifications
- Working experience within the industrial automation, telco or mission critical software is highly appreciated
- Knowledge of cybersecurity related aspects (vulnerabilities, tools, SAST/DAST, penetration tests, etc)
- Knowledge of Cloud computing infrastructures and in particular Azure, AWS, GCP devops related services and facilities
- Working experience on platform monitoring software applications & services such as DataDog, NewRelic, NetData,Prometheus etc
- Working experience with NoSQL database technologies
- Knowledge of other main programming languages such as .Net/C#, Java, Go, Javascript/Typescript, etc • Working experience with test automation tools, such as Selenium, Cypress, Robot, etc
- Hands-on with Git, Git-flow, etc
