Job description

This is a remote position.

A technology driven person who loves working with websites.

Our Wordpress Website is the face of our charity and therefore a vital part of who we are. We're looking for someone experienced in Wordpress Websites that can develop the existing website with a view to leading a complete website redevelopment next year. 

Initially we're looking for quick wins, changes we can make to the website to improve it's navigation, flow, responsiveness and easy of use. A longer term project, for next year, is then to redevelop the website from scratch.

If you really want to make a difference to thousands of lives this Christmas, step up, stretch your comfort zone and truly make a difference. 

You'll be guided by the Technology Team Leader and coached by the charity trustees in every aspect of the role. 
 

RESPONSIBILITES OF ROLE
  • Complete content updates on behalf of the Marketing team
  • Look for opportunities for small improvements
  • Create, test & launch online forms for data collection
  • Keep the Leadership Team updated on the plan & progress made
Requirements
  • Experience with Wordpress websites
  • Ideally experience in website development
  • Self motivated
  • Attend a weekly online meeting with your team
