Job Description

As a Hardware Architect (OCP Server Design), you will be helping us to design GPU servers for our AI payloads, and coordinating across Motherboard, Thermal and Power engineering consultants.

We are working to build our ML Training Infrastructure using Open Compute Project standards, and contributing to the Open Accelerator workstream.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Integration: Collaborate with Research team to design GPU servers for Inference and Training purposes, including product specification, technical analysis and feasibility
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with layout engineers, thermal engineers, electrical engineers, validation engineers, firmware engineers, product engineers and other teams to discover and solve any engineering issues in early stage to ensure and enhance the quality of the products
  • Validation with Vendors: Responsible for schematics capture, layout checking, BOM generating, and working with vendors to debug and test server motherboards / add-on cards / backplane products
  • Documentation: Prepare technical documentation including product specifications, layout instructions, test procedures, etc.
  • Compliance: Accomplish the products to conform to engineering specifications, EMC and energy regulations, and customer performance expectations

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiar with Open Compute Project
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in hardware architecture design and development, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer architecture, digital logic design, and hardware-software integration.
