Job description

Position: Workday Techno Functional Consultant – HCM
Position: Noida
What are our core activities at Opkey?
Opkey specializes in automation testing, particularly in the ERP realm, such as Oracle. Our services extend beyond testing, utilizing advanced technologies like AI, ML, and process mining. With a substantial client base, we are recognized for our expertise in these areas.

Why are we looking to hire?
Opkey is experiencing rapid expansion, particularly as we venture into the Workday ecosystem. As Workday's ISV partner, we hold a unique position as the second organization globally to achieve this status. We are currently developing an automated testing accelerator tailored for complex operations like process mining and business process discovery and baseline establishment. To support these endeavors, we are seeking a Techno-Functional Consultant with a focus on Workday.

Responsibilities:
Technical and Business Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of technical and business requirements for Workday projects, particularly focusing on the HCM module. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Workday Integration: Design, develop, and implement Workday integrations with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability. Leverage Workday Studio and other integration tools to create efficient and scalable integration solutions.
Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize Workday applications to meet client-specific requirements. Utilize knowledge of Workday's internal database tables and structures to implement tailored solutions and optimize system performance.
Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards to provide insights into HR metrics and analytics. Collaborate with business users to define reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Extensibility Framework: Explore and leverage Workday's extensibility framework to extend the functionality of Workday applications and address unique business needs. Design and implement custom business processes and integrations using the extensibility framework.
Quality Assurance and Testing: Conduct thorough testing of Workday configurations, integrations, and customizations to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with business requirements. Document test cases, perform regression testing, and collaborate with QA teams to resolve issues.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Workday configurations, integrations, and customizations. Share knowledge and best practices with team members and stakeholders to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives, provide expert guidance on Workday capabilities, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet their needs. Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and proactive support.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest Workday features, enhancements, and best practices through self-learning, training programs, and participation in Workday community forums. Apply new knowledge and skills to enhance the quality and efficiency of Workday implementations.
Project Management: Manage assigned Workday projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality parameters. Coordinate with project teams, track progress, and escalate issues as needed to ensure successful project outcomes.

Skill Set Requirements:
The ideal candidate must possess technical and business knowledge of the core HCM module within Workday. Experience in several Workday integration projects is essential.
Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience encompassing integration and the overall lifecycle within Workday.
Workday comprises ten submodules, with exposure to additional modules being advantageous. However, proficiency in HRM is non-negotiable, while familiarity with Workforce Planning and Administration and Payroll Management is highly desirable.
A strong understanding of Workday's internal database tables and structures across various modules is crucial.
Proficiency in Workday Studio is a prerequisite, as the role entails knowledge of Workday integration with other systems and the ability to extract Workday configurations.
Proficiency in Workday reporting is necessary, and exposure to the Workday Extensibility Framework is highly preferred.
Certifications in Workday integration will be highly regarded.
