Role Description:
Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and database services.
Manage the system management resources.
Proficiency in Oracle E-Business Suite architecture, installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Act as a system’s management expert.
Experience with database management, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation and management tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Develop the technical infrastructure maintenance strategy.
Analyze, determine, and document requirements in terms of system management needs and implement them.
Manages a large site or network. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Management
Design, implement, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.
Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure high availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
Implement and manage cloud security policies, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection.
Perform routine audits and assessments of cloud environments to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Oracle E-Business Suite Administration
Install, configure, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications.
Develop, manage, and optimize Oracle EBS databases, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, capacity planning, and archiving.
Apply patches, perform upgrades, and ensure the EBS environment is up to date with the latest releases and security updates.
Work closely with MIS- Business Process team for business process documentation, script creation, and testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EBS applications and databases.
Collaboration And Support
Function as the liaison to the various support groups with whom the systems management team interfaces.
Work closely with various departments, including applications, business process, infrastructure, user support, and security as needed to ensure seamless integration and operation of Oracle systems.
Provide support to end-users and stakeholders, addressing issues and inquiries related to Oracle EBS and OCI.
Develop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures.
Identify, approve, and prioritize team projects.
Recommends policies on system use and services.
Responsible for ensuring high priority issues are resolved in a timely manner. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
