Job Summary

The Application Engineer （Software）will be based in Suzhou, China. This job will be responsible for providing local technical support and information to customers on a pre-sales and post-sales basis in order to support the development of new applications in existing or new markets and NPI projects as per customers’ expectations.

产品应用工程师（软件）的工作地点是江苏省苏州市，负责新产品开发的过程中向客户提供本地化的技术支持，满足客户需求。

What a typical day looks like:

日常工作内容：

Use technical knowledge of products and associated development tools to assist customers on complex issues during their actuator related system development.

针对客户端在驱动电机相关系统的开发过程中遇到的复杂问题，使用相关产品知识及开发工具提供支持。

• Contribute to product development by determining customer product needs and translating these needs into new product recommendations and specifications.

在MCi新产品开发的过程中，明确客户需求并将该需求转化为MCi产品规格；

• Regular customer visits w/ sales team MCi to support project acquisition.

常规性客户端走访，为销售团队争取新项目提供技术支持；

• Contribute to development of complex product roadmaps.

协助产品开发；

• Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with product and business development teams, external and internal (MCi HQ, MCi SZ, Flex SDC,..)

在内部、外部产品及商务开发团队之间建立并维系持续稳定的关系；

• Review customer requirements, identify and communicate potential issues and provide recommendations that will meet both MCi capability & standards and customers’ specifications.

评估客户需求对MCi产品的潜在影响，向客户提供技术建议确保其需求符合MCi产品技术能力；

• Identify and communicate existing and potential design issues both internally and externally.

对现有或者潜在的产品设计问题进行识别并在内外部之间开展沟通协调的作用；

• Coordinate product introduction efforts between component suppliers, MCi and the customer.

产品开发时，在供应商、MCi以及客户之间进行沟通协调；

• Provide support for developing and presenting technical seminars for customers and sales personnel to promote new MCi products and applications.

为客户及销售提供技术培训，协助MCi产品的顺利导入；

• Provide support for conducting product benchmark and reporting

为竞品分析提供技术支持；

• Provide best in class complex technical support by answering and closing all customer and program management technical support questions related to manufacturing capabilities including: design, fabrication and assembly abilities.

针对设计、制造以及装配过程中的相关技术问题提供技术支持；

• Define initial project/product scope and prepare project plans to meet customers expectations.

针对客户的需求定义初步的项目或产品开发计划；

• Prepare detailed project plans by documenting customers requirements and incorporating design and manufacturing capabilities in order to meet customers’ expectations.

基于设计制造性为客户制定详细的项目计划；

• Prepare and maintain required documentation.

技术文档编制及维护。

The experience we are looking to add to our team:

岗位需求：

• Engineering background with Bachelor degree or above (Electronics or related)

电子工程技术背景，本科学历及以上；

• Fluent in oral and writing English and Mandarin

英语/普通话书写及口语流利；

• Demonstrated experience with multiple product cycles at OEM from quote, development, launch to sustaining.

具备从询价到产品开发应用等阶段的产品开发经验；

• Knowledge of and experience with the Automotive quality systems IATF 16949 and ISO 14001

了解汽车行业质量管理体系IATF 16949和ISO 14001；

• Experience working in a customer environment (and without sales supervision)

具备客户端独自处理问题的经验；

• Ability to travel on a weekly basis

能适应出差；

• Willingness to travel international/intercontinental, and to be trained for up to 1 months at a time.
