Our Project Managers at FlexiDev Indonesia drive progress on their teams by reporting and maintaining project timelines, minimising external disturbances for developers, and managing impediments within the project, company and externally. Focused on delivering value, you will work alongside your Development Team to ensure we deliver high quality software to our customers, and effectively solve problems within the client’s business or for their users, meeting client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Client expectations are understood and clearly documented
- Project work is accurately estimated in time, resources and nature of delivery
- Appropriate team member resources are engaged and utilised
- Team members are managed to ensure delivery
- Client and management approval is obtained for any new agreed on work or changes in delivery specifications
- Appropriate methodology, infrastructure, architecture and design is selected
- A documented cost benefit analysis is provided, as well as alternative options, for all proposals
- Client deliverables and deadlines are adhered to
- Ongoing progress reports are provided to clients (and management) including tracking of our progress in comparison to the expected scheduled delivery time, deliverables, and resource utilisation
- Managing team leads and team members to ensure that they have the appropriate information, skills and resources to complete the tasks assigned to them
- Projects delivered within budget and on time
- Approval of staff timesheets for weekly delivery to clients
- Documenting daily, weekly and monthly activity reports received from subordinate members
- Mentoring and coordinating activities between team leads and team members
- Work with the Recruitment staff to engage new team members on projects
- Approval of staff leave requests with consideration for project requirements and deadlines
- Reporting to management on the progress of projects within agreed timelines
- Assisting management in effective costing of operations
- Assisting management with regards to individual performance progress reports for all subordinate members
Requirements:
- Solid educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or IT
- Strong technical background, around 7+ years of experience in Software Development
- Minimum of 2 years as a Project Manager and at least 3 years as a Software Developer
- Experience of managing hybrid teams across various locations (office, WFH, timezones)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (fluent in English)
- Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Experience with Agile Methodologies
- Scrum/PMP/ PRINCE II certification is a plus
