WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this position, you will:

  • Design, plan, and implement solutions and integrations that support our go-to-market strategy and customer experience, including Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), and translation
  • Unite the knowledge and skills of business stakeholders and technologists to actualize practical, elegant, and efficient solutions that serve our customers
  • Enhance our Informatica Product 360 PIM ecosystem by extending the data model, deploying new features and functionality, and designing supporting tools and processes
  • Connect PIM, DAM, and translation solutions with customer-facing endpoints like websites and configuration tools and with backend systems including PLM, ERP, and MDM
  • Define data interfaces, contracts, standards, formats, and APIs between both internal systems and external solutions
  • Provide technical thought leadership, contribute to roadmaps, and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to design and integrate effective and optimized solutions
  • Direct resources and oversee, support, and participate in development, configuration, upgrade, testing, and integration activities
  • Work with the enterprise product data leader, syndication manager, product data specialists, business leaders, partner agencies, and other stakeholders to compile and define requirements for data models, business logic, and intended downstream functionality
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide product data governance and standards
  • Drive understanding and adoption of modern technologies within the company and throughout the industry
  • Work on a globally-diverse team responsible for all our commercial product data and assets across the world

YOU HAVE:

  • Previous experience:
    • Designing product data models, standards, and solutions (preferably around customer-facing data for technical products)
    • Implementing, extending, and connecting Informatica Product 360 or another PIM / commercial product data management solution
    • Creating schemas for structured data formats (JSON/XML) and defining REST APIs
    • Organizing, transforming, and delivering images and other digital assets
    • Writing and updating specifications and providing guidance to development teams
    • Working in an agile environment and/or managing projects
    • Balancing trade-offs in solution complexity, speed, effort, and cost to most effectively drive business value
    • Programming/scripting; Java experience preferred
    • Familiarity with common market product data requirements (preferably for a manufacturer of B2B products going to market through distributors)
    • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, IT, or equivalent experience and education
