About Us: We are a dynamic investment firm founded by former search fund entrepreneurs and focused on identifying, acquiring, and managing small to medium-sized businesses. We are currently seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial-minded individual to join our team as a Search Fund Entrepreneur-In-Residence (EIR). This unique position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring a single business, which the EIR will subsequently lead and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Sourcing: Identify and source potential acquisition targets through networking, industry research, and direct outreach.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, and operational assessment of potential targets.
  • Deal Structuring: Collaborate with the investment team to structure deals, negotiate terms, and facilitate acquisitions.
  • Strategic Leadership: Post-acquisition, lead the acquired company by setting strategic direction, driving growth, and improving operational efficiencies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with investors, employees, and customers to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Strong desire to lead and grow a business, with a high tolerance for ambiguity and risk.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying business opportunities and challenges.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership and management experience, preferably within a small to medium-sized business environment.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Educational Background: MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred, with a focus on business, finance, or entrepreneurship.

What We Offer:

  • Unique Opportunity: A rare chance to lead and grow a business as an integral part of its acquisition and transformation.
  • Supportive Environment: Access to mentorship from experienced investor-operators, with guidance throughout the search and acquisition process.
  • Competitive Compensation: Attractive compensation package, including a significant equity stake in the acquired business.

How to Apply: If you are passionate about entrepreneurship and looking for a challenging yet rewarding opportunity, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your interest and qualifications for this role.
