Learning Specialist, Enterprise Education - Learning Plans/Onboarding Lead

Majesco’s Enterprise & Partner Education team provides innovative solutions to enhance learning experiences for our employees, partners, and customers. Majesco is seeking a Learning Plans/Onboarding Lead to join our dynamic team.

All about the Role:

With a focus on successfully onboarding employees to their roles, you will design, develop, and monitor the implementation of Learning Plans within the organization. This position involves a strong focus on creating structured Learning Plans that align with the company’s strategic goals and support employee career growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Managers and Subject Matter experts from Sales, Product, Services, and Support to provide managers the tools they need to ensure a positive onboarding experience for their employees where they feel connected, supported, and confident they are ready for their first assignment.

“Learning Plans/Onboarding” Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and Learning Plan deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, priorities, timelines, and schedules to track progress and ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate resources, tasks, and dependencies across multiple teams to execute projects efficiently.

Needs Assessments & Analysis:

  • Working with Majesco's Managers and Subject Matter Experts, conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning requirements within the organization.
  • Analyze job roles, career paths, and competencies to develop targeted learning plans.

Design, Development, & Implementation:

  • Document comprehensive learning plans that include objectives, completion paths, and delivery methods by department and role.
  • Share Learning Plans with Managers and educate them on how to implement for the teams within their organization.
  • Provide status and communicate Learning Plan updates/improvements across the organization.
  • As a learning advocate, ensure employees are collaborating with their manager to complete Learning Plans and direct them to the manager or HR for support.
  • Share Learning Plan content gaps with broader Enterprise & Partner Education team to help prioritize training development through Majesco’s Education Review Board.

Evaluation & Improvement:

  • In partnership with Managers and Subject Matter Experts, define the process and associated metrics to measure Learning Plans effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Update Learning Plans and communicate changes based on evaluation results and emerging best practices.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Create dashboard view for reporting Learning Plan completion progress by department.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on the status and impact of Learning Plans for BU Leaders and senior management.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in Instructional Design, Project Management, or related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience working with a technology company is required, preferably in the Insurance industry and/or training/education space.
  • The ability to lead via influence, not authority, and establish yourself as a trusted partner and advisor for onboarding within Majesco.
  • Strong project management skills to define and manage development timelines for a cross-departmental team.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills to identify and implement opportunities for improvement in process design and implementation.
  • Knowledgeable of instructional design methodologies including experience of defining Learning Objectives.
  • Ability to assess learning needs, evaluate program effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for status reporting, final deliverables, and updates/changes.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other education technologies.

Flexibility to adjust learning plans based on evolving organizational needs and employee, SME, and People Leader feedback.
