Network Engineer (Mid - Senior) (remote)

If your favorite childhood toys were routers and switches and you better understand TCP/IP protocol than people - we have work for you. You’ll be able to work on a wide range of technical issues, be responsible for the operation and maintenance of production systems and prove your expertise designing and implementing complex infrastructures.  

Responsibilities:

1. Configure and manage carrier grade network hardware including switches and routers
2. Detect and resolve technical problems
3. Build network security
4. Provide top level technical support

Required technical skills and experience:

1. 3+ years of experience in administering networks
2. Knowledge of TCP / IP, HTTP, DHCP, DNS, BGP, AS, VPN
3. Solid experience with Cisco routers and switches
4. Have experience supporting multi-tier web application architectures
5. Have solid understanding of systems and network design, including the operational trade-offs of various designs
6. Track record of successful practical problem solving, excellent written and interpersonal communication, and documentation skills
7. Some experience with Unix/Linux
8. Speak fluent English and be able to read and write in English
9. Knowledge of Russian
