LIMS Product Owner at Resillion Netherlands

Eurofins is an international life sciences company, working with a unique range of clients through multiple industries with a significant presence across Europe and worldwide. Our primary focus is on laboratory services to diverse business lines, including food and feed testing, environmental testing, and pharmaceutical testing.

The LIMS Product Owner is accountable for delivering Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) solutions for our sites and laboratories. This role encompasses establishing and managing business processes, overseeing project delivery, and providing guidance and support to the IT solution team. Furthermore, facilitating performance monitoring to ensure alignment with optimal laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive mapping of current software applications, identifying their strengths and weaknesses
• Understand business needs and corporate solutions, and develop a strategic roadmap
• Lead IT solution processes and teams (including Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, and Developers), overseeing implementations and updates
• Manage personnel: recruit, motivate, empower, and train team members

Plan budgets, manage resources, and costs effectively

This is a highly technical role requiring a robust IT background; knowledge of chemistry-focused analytical laboratory business domains is an advantage.

• Degree in IT Technology, Science, Business, or Economics
• Minimum 5-year relevant experience
• Proficient in business analysis and process mapping
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Hungarian is an advantage
• Advanced presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proven management experience and skills, including Agile and Scrum software development methodologies
• Flexible and results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with the following technological stacks:
  • MS Windows environment, thick client (fat client), Visual Basic, BAS, VBS, VB9, MSSQL, stored procedures, SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS), Azure DevOps
• Undertake regional travel as needed
