Description

Ventus Executive Solutions (VES) is seeking an Engineer/Analyst/Program Manager with a concentration in national defense to join an exciting team working in the Arlington, VA area. This position involves impactful work with a great team. VES is a small company that works in the innovation and consulting arena and hires particularly talented individuals. The qualified candidate will have a background in Maritime and Joint Operations and/or a background in submarine operations and undersea technologies. The perfect candidate will have military operational experience and a technical background/degree program. This role is an especially good fit for a Nuclear Submariner. The successful candidate will assist in the management of a small, highly capable team working on a cutting-edge logistics and supply chain management project to solve complex national defense problems.

Location: Remote with 25% travel

Required Experience

15+ years of experience
Strong interpersonal and planning/executing skills desired
Bachelor's Degree
Secret Clearance

Desired Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in scientific, engineering, or other technical discipline strongly desired
Master's degree desired.
20 years relevant work experience
Military operational experience is desired
Experience working with NAVSEA Program Offices and senior DoD leadership
Experience with program management or development of new requirements or oversight of submarine new construction
Experience with DoD logistics and supply chain management
