Understand customer needs and requirements, and write proposals, cost estimates, Statement of Work, Acceptance Test Plans, feasibility reports, and other documentation
Generate system concept, layout design, and system architecture
Validate system performance and feasibility with robot systems and tools
Occasional travel to customer facilities for sales conversations, site assessments and solution implementations (up to 40% travel)
Review and approve technical details in customer communication including API definition, integration responsibilities, and Bill of Materials
Build and manage relationships with key customers, partners and vendors.
Serve as the subject matter expert, have technical sessions with prospective customers and respond to their technical questions.
Participate a solution roadmap discussion and lead the collaboration initiative with external partners and internal stakeholders
Run the customer demo and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems to make sure the equipment is operational

Understanding of each technology and machinery’s capabilities and limitations
Hard skills
2+ years of industry experience in the fields of warehouse or factory automation
Experience in writing a proposal or an SoW for automation equipment selling
Ability to lead the technical conversation with customers and internal team
Ability to prepare or write up material needed to proceed customer and partner conversations
Ability to read and understand the electrical and mechanical diagrams
Ability to design concepts and layouts with 2D CAD(AutoCAD) and 3D CAD (Solidworks, OnShape)
Familiar with tools for documentation, spreadsheet, and presentation (such as Google Docs, Spreadsheets, and Slides)
Fluent in Japanese
Reading and writing in English
Bonus if you have:
Experience working with industrial robots, robotic sensors such as 3D cameras, barcode scanner, and grippers
Exposure to Linux system, command line, and networking
Experience with simulation tools (Roboguide, Visual Components, etc)
Exposure to PLC programming (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Keyence, etc) and control logic
Speak Korean
