Role Description and Key Responsibilities:

As the Regional Solution Architect for OMP (Operations Management Planning), you will take on the pivotal role of leading the OMP Deployment program across one of the designated regions (Americas, Europe, or APAC). Your primary responsibilities include:

• Strategic Leadership: Assume overall responsibility as the lead OMP Architect for deploying OMP's Unison planning solution to approximately 450 factories within your assigned region.
  
• Functional Expertise: Manage and oversee key functional areas including Demand Management, Distribution Planning, Master Production Schedule (MPS), Detailed Planning and Scheduling, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Multi-echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO), and Integration.
  
• Team Leadership: Lead a geographically dispersed solution team covering the Americas & LATAM or APAC regions.
  
• Global Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Global Solution Architect to ensure consistency with the Global Template during ongoing OMP deployments.
  
• Environmental Strategy: Ensure regional adherence to and enhancement of environmental strategy related to OMP deployments.
  
• Solution Design and Evolution: Work with OMP solution architects to define optimal design solutions and drive product evolution initiatives.
  
• Roadmap Development: Collaborate with program leadership, data leads, and process leads to define future roadmaps and align on rollout strategies.
  
• Capability Development: Develop team capabilities and readiness to facilitate successful OMP deployments and team growth.
  

Experience – Must Have:

• Large-Scale Project Deployment: Proven experience in deploying large-scale OMP Planning projects, including a minimum of 2 full Greenfield Implementations.
  
• Module Expertise: Hands-on experience with OMP modules including DP (Demand Planning), CP (Distribution Planning), DPS (Detailed Planning and Scheduling), MRP (Material Requirements Planning), MPS (Master Production Schedule), and MEIO (Multi-echelon Inventory Optimization).
  
• System Setup: Demonstrated ability to set up a standard OMP System from inception.
  
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in configuring and implementing advanced OMP functionalities such as Pyramids, Line Schemes, Contexts, Conflicts, Pivots, Forecasting Groups, Reference Bucketing Schemes, Global Bucketing Schemes, Horizons, and Dashboards.
  
• Optimization Skills: Experience in fine-tuning solvers and cost models within the OMP framework.
  
• Data Management: Proficiency in setting up local data structures for Operational Planning and Forecasting Layers.
  
• System Understanding: In-depth knowledge of Multi-User Concepts and the various layers within the OMP Landscape.
  
• Dispatcher Setup: Strong understanding of Dispatcher setup and operational flows within OMP.
  
• Customer Engagement: Experience working directly with OMP Project and Customer layers.
  

Experience – Nice to Have:

• Advanced Skills: Familiarity with OPAL Coding for OMP customization.
  
• Integration Experience: Knowledge of integrating OMP with other systems such as SAP APO, BY, IBP, or o9.
  
• Industry Insight: Background in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector advantageous.
