Job Description

This role demands an in-depth understanding of data and analytics technologies and the ability to align these services with client needs. The executive is responsible for developing new business opportunities, particularly in the data and analytics space, qualifying, and engaging potential clients in the consultative selling cycle, crafting tailored proposals, overseeing the contract process, and closing new business converting prospects into net new customers. The focus is on establishing and adding value through a team-based consultative sales process solving client problems with appropriate strategy leveraging data and analytics solutions to drive business transformation and growth for upper midmarket and enterprise clients. **

Responsibilities**

  • Initiate and lead sales opportunities for Microsoft Azure Data, Business Intelligence, and AI consulting services targeting Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (SMC) and Enterprise clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Microsoft Cloud AI sphere.
  • Cultivate and maintain key client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with Microsoft Azure solutions.
  • Develop strategic sales plans specifically for Microsoft Data & AI services to meet revenue goals.
  • Impart data management and business intelligence expertise and sales-focused mentorship to junior team members.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to tailor Data, Business Intelligence (BI) & AI service offerings based on client feedback and evolving needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to uncover untapped opportunities within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Exceed sales targets related to Microsoft Data Engineering & Analytics consulting services through strategic planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft compelling data & AI focused solution proposals and presentations.

Minimum And/Or Preferred Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, or related field, required.
  • MBA or relevant master's degree, with a focus on technology or business management preferred.
  • Preferred: Data and analytics certifications.

Experience

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in client service or sales, with a distinct focus on data and analytics solutions or similar technologies.
  • Proven track record in successfully selling and implementing data and analytics solutions.
  • Experience in a lead role within a team-selling environment.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, particularly in consulting and technology contexts.
