Your missions

Overview

As an SAP ABAP with RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model), your role is crucial in developing, implementing, and maintaining SAP applications and solutions using the Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) language and the RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and debugging SAP RAP applications, integrating with external systems, and optimizing database performance. Your work will be integral in ensuring smooth and efficient SAP operations for the organization.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop SAP RAP applications using ABAP programming language
Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Implement and integrate SAP solutions with external systems and web services
Optimize and enhance database performance for SAP applications
Perform unit testing to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement
Troubleshoot and debug SAP RAP applications to identify and resolve issues
Work with the SAP Fiori/UI5 development framework to create user-friendly interfaces
Ensure compliance with best practices, standards, and guidelines for SAP development
Document technical specifications, system configurations, and development processes
Provide technical support and guidance to end users and stakeholders
Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends for continuous skill improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated and scalable SAP solutions
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools
Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Certification or training in SAP ABAP development
Proven experience in developing SAP applications using ABAP programming language
Familiarity with RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) in the SAP environment
Strong understanding of SAP software development lifecycle and methodologies
Experience in integrating SAP solutions with external systems and web services
Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting SAP applications
Knowledge of database management and optimization in the SAP context
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment
Adaptability to learn and apply new technologies and tools
Understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5 development framework is a plus
