Overview

The SAP BTP Consultant plays a crucial role in leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to drive digital transformation for organizations. They are responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting solutions that align with the client's business objectives, utilizing the various services and tools available within the SAP BTP ecosystem. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud platforms, integration, and development, as well as strong consulting skills to provide guidance to clients on maximizing the value of SAP BTP.

Key responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and propose SAP BTP solutions.
Design, configure, and implement SAP BTP applications and services to meet client needs.
Provide technical expertise in integrating SAP BTP with existing systems and applications.
Develop custom solutions and extensions using SAP BTP tools and technologies.
Conduct workshops, training, and knowledge transfer sessions for clients and internal teams.
Guide clients on best practices for utilizing SAP BTP services such as analytics, AI, and IoT.
Participate in pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations and proposal development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on the latest SAP BTP features and capabilities, and assess their applicability to client scenarios.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of SAP BTP methodologies, standards, and processes.

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience working as an SAP BTP Consultant or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of SAP BTP services, including but not limited to SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Integration Suite.
Hands-on experience with SAP BTP tools for application development, such as SAP Business Application Studio or SAP Web IDE.
Experience in integrating SAP BTP with other cloud platforms and on-premise systems.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Certifications in SAP BTP or relevant technologies is a plus.
Excellent communication and consulting skills to engage with clients at all levels.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, dynamic team environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to new challenges.
