Overview

As a .NET + S4HANA developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of software solutions that integrate .NET technologies with SAP S4HANA systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing .NET applications that interact with SAP S4HANA, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient business processes. Your contributions will directly impact the organization's ability to leverage its SAP infrastructure and optimize its business operations.

Key responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design solutions that integrate .NET technologies with SAP S4HANA.
Develop and maintain .NET applications that interact with SAP S4HANA through web services, APIs, and other interfaces.
Optimize software performance and ensure seamless data integration between .NET and SAP systems.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Create technical documentation and provide support for existing .NET and S4HANA integrations.
Work closely with SAP functional and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
Stay current with .NET and S4HANA best practices and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation using .NET and S4HANA.
Contribute to architectural discussions and provide technical guidance on .NET and S4HANA integration strategies.
Participate in Agile development methodologies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure compliance with coding standards, security protocols, and data privacy regulations.
Proactively identify and address technical debt and performance bottlenecks in .NET and S4HANA integrations.
Support and mentor junior developers in .NET and S4HANA development best practices.
Collaborate with the broader IT team to support enterprise-wide initiatives and projects.

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in developing .NET applications with a focus on integrating with SAP S4HANA.
Proficiency in C# programming language and .NET framework.
Hands-on experience with SAP S4HANA integration technologies, including SAP Fiori, SAP Cloud Platform, and SAP HANA Cloud Integration.
Strong understanding of SAP ERP systems and data model.
Expertise in SQL and database management related to SAP S4HANA.
Experience in designing, building, and consuming web services and APIs for .NET-SAP integrations.
Ability to work in an Agile development environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Solid teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Understanding of software architecture and design principles, with a focus on scalable and maintainable solutions.
Knowledge of security best practices and data privacy regulations related to .NET-SAP integrations.
Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and drive innovation in the .NET and S4HANA integration space.
Certifications in .NET development and SAP S4HANA integration would be a plus.
Previous experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers is desirable.
