1. Globalscape EFT
2. HelpSystems Globalscape EFT
3. Axway SecureTransport
Job Summary:
Proficiency in Globalscape EFT Tool scheduling and File transmission from Server to Client Folder path, Encryption and Decryption of Files during File Transmission
Resolve complex problems across multiple applications within a timely manner
Debug code and creating bug tickets for the software development team
Train and mentor less-experienced team members
Write scripts to perform automation tasks related to production support
Perform data analysis on MS SQL tables using T-SQL queries
Troubleshoot web and SFTP server connectivity issues
Monitor and troubleshoot batch file processing
Research technical issues reported by business users
Assist with SOC1/SOC2/PCI audits
Proficiency with:
PowerShell, Bash
ETL Applications, Batch Processing (e.g.SSIS, Informatica, Talend)
MS SQL Server
SFTP Servers (e.g. HelpSystems Globalscape EFT, Axway SecureTransport, IBM Sterling File Gateway)
Ability to assess severity, determine impact, and engage other teams as necessary
Excellent written and verbal communication and strong teamwork skills
Ability to explain highly technical issues in a level understandable to any audience
Great attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience with Azure DevOps and Git
Experience with ticketing workflows (e.g. Service Now, BMC Remedy, nService Help Desk)
Experience supporting secure, high performance, fault tolerant, and high availability solutions
Ability following policies and procedures governing sensitive data
Experience working with both onshore and offshore teams preferred
Previous experience in the medical or financial industry preferred.
