Salary: Between 140,000 - 180,000 PHP Pesos Per month (depending on Experience)

Job Summary:
As the Senior Accountant / Team leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the compliance department (tax and accounting), with a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of tax returns, financial statements, and reporting. Additionally, you will be training our bookkeepers/accountants so they can serve our clients in the most efficient and effective way, as well as develop standards and processes for proper financial management.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
· Focus on Tax Return Review
· Analyze Financial Statements
· Review and Reconcile balance sheet accounts
· Review of Tax Returns
· Supervise and assist the bookkeeper with your monthly clients
· Handling new client onboarding and back work
· Preparing tax returns for partnerships, S or C corporations, and individuals
· Manage the workflow of the tax preparation to meet deadlines with accuracy
· Give prompt attention to any additional projects/taxes delegated to you
· You will require a high level of technical knowledge in accounting and taxation and have the ability to finalize work for clients (this is crucial)
· Daily meetings with the Senior Client Manager and other accountants will ensure you feel part of the team.
· While this role will require you to work independently, you will also collaborate with other team members at times.
· Bookkeepers and tax preparers available to prepare work for your review
Software Knowledge: (desirable, but not essential)
· QuickBooks
· Xero
· Thompson Reuters Ultra Tax
· Tax Dome
About you:
· A positive attitude and willingness to be trained and mentored.
· CPA, EA or Qualified Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (US), or other similar certification.
· Fluent in English
· Enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience by providing support to other team members
· Formal accounting, tax and bookkeeping qualifications. US Tax Experience a must
· Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
· Must be motivated, proactive, and persistent
· Willingness to learn and embrace technology
· Excellent communication skills
· Great Work Ethic
· You will be required to work solely and exclusively for our firm
