Cetera Financial Group (CFG) is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Sales Enablement who will be responsible for reimagining the enablement experience for driving revenue and partnering closely with executives across the business to deliver hyper-relevant and impactful enablement at scale. As the Senior Manager, Sales Enablement in Cetera’s Demand Center, you will lead the development and execution of strategies, programs, and resources to empower our sales teams and drive revenue growth. This position is a senior role that will require generational thinking to drive transformation and requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of sales processes, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build targeted enablement programs that enhance the capabilities and performance of diverse sales teams. You will be responsible for aligning marketing initiatives with sales objectives, equipping sales representatives with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively engage prospects and customers, and optimizing the sales process to maximize efficiency and productivity. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on execution to deliver impactful sales enablement initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Establish a multi-disciplinary team (through both direct and matrixed reporting structures), inclusive of enablement business partners, learning designers/trainers, Strategy, Marketing & Sales dedicated to supporting the enablement needs of all revenue teams.
  • Build and own the Executive Enablement Council for Revenue Transformation & AI, facilitating discussions with executives to plan and execute their enablement priorities.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales enablement strategy aligned with business goals and sales priorities, owning the roadmap for future enhancement.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams to determine the key personas to support within Demand Center for 2024 and their respective enablement needs.
  • Build persona-based learning journeys, curating or creating content where needed with key partners
  • Streamline execution of marketing & sales tactics to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with overall Demand Center objectives.
  • Identify bottlenecks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement and automation in the sales workflow.
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage sales enablement technologies such as CRM (Candidate Relationship Management) systems, sales engagement platforms, and content management systems.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of sales enablement programs on sales performance and revenue generation.
  • Analyze sales data, feedback from the field, and market trends into actionable insights & recommendations to be used across the sales & marketing organization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across multiple teams (product, channels, marketing, etc.) to ensure sales teams are equipped with tools, calculators, product information, and other relevant resources to leverage in their conversations with prospects.
  • Partner with sales leadership to understand sales goals and priorities and tailor sales enablement initiatives accordingly.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop training materials, workshops, and resources covering product knowledge, sales techniques, objection handling, and competitive positioning.
  • Stand up a relevant governance structure including appropriate stakeholders and leveraging existing processes to drive consensus and activation of priority work across revenue teams.

What You Will Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Technology, and Science. MBA is preferred.
  • 5 years at the senior management level experience, leading managers in addition to individual contributors.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a posts-ales, consulting, or enablement environment, preferably in a large corporate environment.
  • Deep understanding of B2B sales processes, customer journey mapping, and sales methodologies
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo), ABM tools (E.g., 6Sense), and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to translate big-picture ideas into action & establish relationships across organizations with alternative viewpoints.
  • Experience working with executives with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex discussions, present ideas, and articulate thoughts with diverse audiences.
  • Must be capable of dealing confidently and professionally at the executive level with the ability to respond to high-profile, high-impact needs in a way that drives stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Excellent relationship builder including demonstrated ability to operate in a matrix organization where influencing skills are required.
  • Ability to work well under tight timelines and manage competing priorities, programs, and rapid changes, often in ambiguous situations across our company's most complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting, growing, retaining, and leading high-caliber technical talent, with a commitment to cultivating and developing internal talent.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct deep discovery, think critically, and approach complex challenges with a strategic mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to evolve existing practices to meet changing business needs
  • Exceptional experience crafting and driving training strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive decision-making and measure impact.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in driving sales performance improvements and revenue growth through effective sales enablement strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • People management, interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities.

What Is Nice To Have

  • Prior experience working in the Wealth Management industry or with a broker-dealer.
  • Experience with leveraging Sales Enablement tools like Salesloft or Outreach.

Travel Requirements: 10%

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $145,000 - $175,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.
