Job description

Overview:

The SAP BI/BW Senior Consultant plays a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions using SAP BW technologies. This position is integral to harnessing data to provide valuable insights and drive informed decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of SAP BI/BW solutions to meet business requirements
Create and maintain data models and extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for BI solutions
Develop and implement data extraction and loading processes from source systems to SAP BW
Perform system testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing for BI solutions
Optimize SAP BI/BW performance and resolve technical issues
Provide expertise in SAP BW on HANA and other related technologies
Train and mentor junior team members in SAP BI/BW best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure harmonized BI solutions across the organization
Document solution designs, technical specifications, and BI processes

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP BI/BW implementation and support
Expertise in data modeling, extraction, and transformation using SAP BW
Proficiency in SAP BW on HANA and other related technologies
Experience in designing and implementing complex BI solutions
Strong understanding of business intelligence concepts and best practices
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels
Certification in SAP BI/BW is preferred
Experience with SAP data integration, administration, and performance optimization
