Job description-Sr. Consultant (Import & Warehouse Coordinator)

Job responsibilities:

1. Import Coordination:

Collaborate with suppliers and freight forwarders to coordinate the import of goods.

Ensure compliance with import regulations, including customs documentation and duties.

Track and monitor the status of import shipments, managing any delays or issues that arise.

Maintain accurate records of import documentation and costs.

2. Inventory Management:

Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of products in the warehouse.

Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock levels.

Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize losses and ensure product availability.

Organize and optimize warehouse space for efficient storage and movement of goods.

3. Quality Control:

Inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy.

Ensure that all products meet quality standards and safety regulations.

Implement quality control processes to identify and address any defects or discrepancies.

4. Shipping and Distribution:

Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders.

Select appropriate carriers and shipping methods to meet customer requirements.

Monitor and track outbound shipments, ensuring on-time delivery.

Address customer inquiries related to shipments and delivery times.

5. Documentation and Record-keeping:

Maintain accurate records of all import and warehouse-related activities.

Prepare and maintain reports on inventory levels, shipping schedules, and other relevant data.

Handle and file all necessary import and export documentation.

6. Safety and Compliance:

Ensure that the warehouse and related processes comply with safety regulations and industry standards.

Implement and enforce safety protocols for warehouse staff and visitors.

Monitor and manage compliance with import/export laws and regulations.

7. Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to meet customer demand.

Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory status, issues, and improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).

Proven experience in E-commerce.

Proven experience in import and warehouse management, ideally have interest in content creation.

Knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance.

Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and inventory control software.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Knowledge of safety protocols and practices.

Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Good knowledge of writing Business e-mails.

Location- Work from home.

Day Shift- 1:30 PM to 10 PM

Night shift- 7 pm to 3.30 am

Languages known: English and Hindi (verbal and written)

Job Type: Full-time

**Must have a laptop and a stable internet connection.
