Overview

The Web Developer Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the development and maintenance of our company's website. This internship will provide hands-on experience in web development and an opportunity to contribute to real-world projects under the guidance of experienced professionals. The role is essential for ensuring our online presence is engaging, user-friendly, and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of website features and enhancements
Contribute to the creation of web pages using HTML, CSS, Php, react, Nodejs, SQL, mogodb and Javascript
Collaborate with the design team to implement UI/UX improvements
Ensure website functionality and responsiveness across various browsers and devices
Perform website testing and troubleshooting
Support the integration of third-party applications and plugins
Assist in website content updates and management
Stay updated on web development best practices and emerging technologies
Provide technical support to internal teams for web-related inquiries
Assist in SEO optimization and web analytics implementation
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for website improvements
Adhere to web development standards and guidelines
Document processes and contribute to technical documentation
Assist in the maintenance of web servers and databases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support web-related projects

Required Qualifications

Enrollment in a related degree program such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Web Development
Understanding of web development languages and frameworks (e.g., HTML, CSS, Javascript, react, Php etc.)
Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices
Basic understanding of responsive design and mobile-first approach
Proficiency in web development tools and platforms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Passion for web development and eagerness to learn and grow
Experience with version control systems such as Git is a plus
Understanding of SEO principles and web analytics tools is a plus
Familiarity with web security principles and best practices is a plus
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Willingness to adapt to new technologies and tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
