We are hiring for a Senior Editor!

Pubninja, a digital media company that works with multiple international publishing houses, is looking for a Senior Editor to join its dynamic editorial team. You will assist in leading the team and edit beat articles that include entertainment, human-interest, health, politics, crime, social media, pop culture, lifestyle, and original Reddit/twitter/Facebook-based stories.

Requirements

• Your primary responsibilities include playing a pivotal role in editorial production, sourcing stories, strategising, deriving content strategy and taking ownership to execute and realign when required.
  
• From approving stories, prioritising and editing them, to working in tandem with the team lead, editors, and writers, you will be involved in ensuring the workflow and the eventual output are in their best shape while also meeting deadlines.
  
• You will be responsible for extending assistance and guidance to writers and editors, providing them with regular feedback on performance and helping address areas of improvement.
  
• 4 - 6 years of copy-editing experience and prior experience in leading a team.

Remote (India): This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the location you feel most productive and comfortable.

CTC: 6 - 8 LPA, depending on experience

Work Timings: 10am - 7pm, Six days a week.
