We are looking for a senior full-stack technical lead for our cloud AI platform team with a strong background in React, and Python. This role will include technical strategy, team leadership and mentoring, collaboration with a cutting-edge AI team and our top technical leaders; and development to help bring the first generation of personalized artificial intelligence for consumers.
About the Role:
As Technical Lead, your primary responsibility is to apply your deep knowledge and experience as a technologist towards leadership of our technical teams, production system care and software projects.
We are looking for a technical leader who will leverage experience and an astute awareness of current conditions to deploy industry best cloud services, mobile and desktop applications. This includes ensuring our teams have the clarity and resources they need to meet mutually agreed upon objectives and being the primary representative and leader of our cloud, UX development and DevOps teams.
Experience leading a team that has deployed a production cloud system is a hard requirement. A candidate that has delivered an AI-powered application (consumer or enterprise), would be a big advantage when seeking the role.
A successful candidate must have a track record of accountability, trustworthiness, and the relationships to prove it. As you might expect, you should have the ability to clearly express technical and process concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. We expect this role to have a deep and varied technical background, a ‘full-stack’ developer with recent and current emphasis on React and Python who stays current on technology and can make contributions in multiple areas as needed.

Responsibilities:
You will be a primary leader, and representative of our cloud and UX development teams. You are an advocate for their needs, determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team, while working in close collaboration with our Chief of AI and Product Manager.
● Collaborating and working closely with the Chief of AI to understand the system/architecture and planning ways to deliver those services through the platform API to B2B and B2B2C customers.
● Determining technical team staffing needs and assisting with hiring and training technical personnel when needed.
● Collaborating on project requirements and developing work schedules and assignments for software development team.
● Conducting security audits to identify areas of improvement
● Developing and maintaining a holistic technical view, coordinate workstreams
● Will be able to provide some hands-on coding contributions, somewhere in the realm of 75/25 leadership/technical work.
● Being a source of technical improvements, and best practices.
● Managing to daily, weekly, and monthly targets, reporting on performance, and coordinating with Product Management on roll-up reporting.
● Keeping up to date with industry-relevant technical trends and developments.
● Being transparent with the team and stakeholders about challenges, failures, and successes.
● Conducting regular software demonstrations for stakeholders, as new features are released.
Requirements:
● You should have experience in a similar role, directly leading technical teams, and interfacing with executive leadership.

Experience and Qualifications:
● 5+ years of experience in a hands-on technical engineering, or technical leadership role
● Ability to explain technical concepts to team members in different fields
