We're in the business of helping public and private organizations implement and scale transformative change that improves Medicare and Medicaid sustainability, care delivery, and payment. Our nationally recognized experts solve the hardest problems in healthcare and reduce uncertainty by drawing on fresh ideas and a deep understanding of the many intersecting parts of a rapidly changing healthcare landscape. We work with policymakers, providers, health plans, states, foundations, and other stakeholders to provide insights and practical solutions.

We are currently seeking a Director to join our company.

ATI is at an exciting juncture in our growth, and we’re seeking a Director to join our team! The ideal candidate is a strong leader and problem solver with consulting or related experience working with a variety of healthcare clients; can lead a project from conceptualization through project completion; has strong subject matter expertise in Medicare fee for service, value-based care, Medicare Advantage programs, and/or commercial health insurance; and has an interest in growing with our company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple clients and lead engagements as the primary point of contact with executive-level clients.
  • Manage multiple projects including project teams, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Lead technical assistance and analyses for health plans or providers on issues related to Medicare payment and policy, growth strategy, and value-based care for populations with complex needs.
  • Build, deepen, and strengthen the value we deliver to clients and our relationships with them.
  • Contribute to business development through participation in project scoping calls and proposal writing in addition to developing new client relationships and cultivating existing relationships.
  • Contribute substantially to the mission and impact through strategic guidance, content creation, and as appropriate public speaking/representation of ATI.
  • Manage, mentor, and support the professional development of junior team members.

Requirements

  • Strong subject matter expertise in at least one of the following: Medicare FFS policy, value-based care, and Medicare Advantage; with a preference for candidates with consulting, health services research, CMS, and/or health plan experience.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant work-experience working in a federal regulatory agency, health plan, or consulting to/supporting a wide range of organizations and/or clients in healthcare and aging.
  • Solid experience leading complex projects, engaging with (internal or external) clients, delivering high quality strategic analysis and recommendations, and/or policy analysis and recommendations.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and knowledge across a broad range of projects and sectors.
  • Skilled at navigating and adapting recommendations based on external and internal political sensitivities impacting clients.
