Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to fill the Lead DevOps role. This individual will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives related to disaster recovery, IT cybersecurity preparedness, penetration and vulnerability testing, and ISO certification within our organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, along with a deep understanding of DevOps practices and the ability to ensure operational resilience, maintain robust security measures, and meet compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management:
• Provide strong leadership to the DevOps team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
• Set clear goals and expectations for the team and provide guidance and support to help them achieve success.
• Mentor and develop team members, encouraging their professional growth and cultivating a talent pipeline.
2. DevOps Strategy and Implementation:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive DevOps strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Drive the adoption of DevOps principles, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure successful implementation and integration of DevOps practices.
3. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
• Develop and maintain a robust disaster recovery strategy, including backup and recovery plans, to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.
• Lead the planning and execution of regular assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities and implement proactive measures to mitigate them.
• Coordinate and conduct drills and tests to validate the effectiveness of disaster recovery procedures.
4. IT Cybersecurity Preparedness:
• Establish and maintain a strong cybersecurity posture by implementing and managing robust security measures.
• Lead efforts to assess and manage cybersecurity risks, develop security policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and industry trends and implement proactive measures to protect against them.
5. Penetration and Vulnerability Testing:
• Oversee the implementation of regular penetration and vulnerability testing on our environments, applications, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to conduct comprehensive assessments, analyze test results, and implement appropriate remediation actions.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the security posture of our systems to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
6. ISO Certification:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain the necessary processes, controls, and documentation required for ISO certification, particularly ISO 27001 for information security management.
• Lead the preparation for ISO audits, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our ISO certification efforts.
