Summary:

Become the mastermind behind compelling proposals that win. As a DX Proposal Engineer, you'll translate complex project opportunities into persuasive narratives that showcase our expertise and secure client partnerships. You'll work cross-functionally with Sales, Consultants, and Engineers to craft winning solutions and influence customer decisions. Think creatively, strategically, and analytically to develop impactful proposals that not only meet their needs but exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities:

Architect compelling proposals: Deeply understand client requirements and translate them into compelling narratives that highlight our value proposition and competitive edge.
Collaborate across teams: Leverage expertise from Sales, Consultants, and Engineers to gather project specifications and ensure proposals reflect a holistic understanding of client needs.
Mastermind technical details: Craft system architectures, process flows, and basic engineering designs, showcasing your deep knowledge of relevant focus areas.
Manage the proposal lifecycle: Plan, prepare, coordinate estimates, and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
Analyze and optimize pricing: Monitor competing proposals, provide strategic pricing feedback, and collaborate with legal on terms and conditions to ensure competitiveness.
Champion successful outcomes: Build strong relationships with internal teams, track proposal win rates, and continuously refine your approach to maximize success.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in proposal writing and pre-sales.
Exceptional writing skills: Craft persuasive narratives that articulate value, differentiation, and influence key decision-makers.
Technical proficiency: Understand on-premises/cloud integrations, edge gateways, protocols like Modbus and MQTT, and asset performance management.
Analytical savvy: Leverage data to understand market trends, analyze competitor proposals, and inform pricing strategies.
Effective communication and presentation: Clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
