PurposeProvide necessary documents to insurance companies in relation to mergers and acquisitions. Monitor all communications from insurance companies related to Standard Personal and Commercial Lines business; handling appointments, maintaining producer codes, agency location information, and producer information. Communicate with sales leadership, the licensing director, and the M&A team regarding progress, in addition to maintaining accurate tracking.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Coordinate with the M&A team, sales leadership, and insurance companies to ensure all documentation needed for new agency appointments and notifications of change in ownership are submitted accurately and processed timely. - Accurately track progress of changes and requests and share with appropriate teams. - Complete documents timely, request signatures from agency principals or executive leadership, update banking information. - Keep excellent inventory of producer codes and appointment detail, maintaining producer agreements and commission rates and ensuring they are captured in our document retention system. Attend meetings as necessary. - Process requests to add new carriers, ensuring all information is gathered and communicated with sales leadership. - Coordinate with sales operations to maintain information for each state needed to timely and easily complete appointment paperwork. - Meet with sales leaders regarding upcoming acquisitions to understand how each carrier should be handled. Escalate issues to the licensing director when appropriate.
Qualifications and Education Requirements - High school diploma. Bachelors' degree preferred - 1-2 years of experience in insurance agency or insurance company operations preferred - Bilingual English/Spanish preferred - Ability to exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive information
