Job description

Position Overview:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring the status and progress of projects within the Big Data team focused on Clean Energy. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

Lead project planning, execution, and monitoring activities for Big Data initiatives in the Clean Energy sector.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against milestones.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including regular updates to the direct supervisor.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution.
Foster a collaborative team environment, providing leadership and support to project team members.
Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, processes, and best practices.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project delivery processes and outcomes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in project management, specifically in the Big Data domain.
Strong proficiency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
