Audacy-Madison is looking for entry & junior sales professionals ready to lead in the evolution of audio!  We are seeking a professional, bright, energetic, self-starter who is detail-oriented, able to multitask while providing support to Sales Managers and Account Executives.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:

 

In this role, you will act as a liaison between the Account Executive and client.

  • Create sales presentations by compiling data; developing presentation formats and materials; creating and/or maintaining one-sheets and media kits
  • Assist Account Executives with preparing proposals
  • Build deep business relationships through continually delivering great service and results to clients.
  • Achieve Sales objectives and quotas
  • Attend sales meetings, training sessions and client remotes as needed.
  • Effectively prospect new clients, working with internal support to create and pitch strategic ideas communicating our value to clients and driving new business
  • Grow existing accounts, as well as manage all business aspects of the relationship
  • Update managers by consolidating, analyzing and forwarding daily action summaries
  • Consistently use and maintain our CRM tool and utilize other platforms to perform daily business.
  • Obtain local invoices for clients/agencies as needed; interacting closely with Traffic Department to ensure smooth execution of sales orders and track down missing copy and instructions
  • Resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history; identifying alternate means for filling orders; notifying managers and customers
  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning and copying; provide back up to Traffic and provide phone coverage for stations as needed.
  • Assist General Manager with client parties, i.e., scheduling, coordinating using approved vendors
  • Works as a team with other departments, individuals
  • Continually learn new products as our industry is evolving, and proactively create new opportunities for you to communicate our value proposition to clients. Includes but not limited to: Podcasting, Streaming Audio, Over The Air, OTT Video, and digital performance media (SEO/SEM, Social)

  • Experience with Salesforce, Google Tools and MS Office tools. Wide Orbit and other traffic software experience is a plus. Able to easily adapt to new software programs as may occur from time to time based on industry standards and market needs.
  • Ability to organize, break down, and clearly articulate complex thoughts, ideas, and instructions in oral and written form (willing and able to command a room)
  • A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.

 

Preferred:

  • 1 to 3 years in Media, Sales, or customer service background preferred, but not required
  • Bachelor’s Degree
