About This Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with on a project for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and be part of a talented software development team. This role will be focused on modernizing and implementing key user applications and related components following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flex or Redux). The ideal candidate will have a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality. This job is primarily REMOTE work, but due to the nature of the SECRET Clearance, some work at the customer site might be required.
At this job you will…
- Develop Software using REACT
- Demonstrate your experience with Java and Spring Boot back-end environments
- Use Jira, Confluence, and Git/Bitbucket to support development tasks.
- Work with stakeholders and product owners to develop and implement new user interfaces.
- Support DevSecOps tasks as assigned.
Required Education:
- BS in Computer Science or related field.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of JavaScript development experience and at least 3 years of experience with React.js.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience developing software
- Prior experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
- Prior experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).
- Experience creating RESTful APIs in Java and Spring Boot and using a relational database
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
- Strong proficiency in Java with Spring Boot back-end
- Familiarity with more current specifications of EcmaScript.
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
- ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 – $170,000.00 per year
