Job Description:
Team Lead Deal Desk CPQ will be responsible for the team and own the process of creating quotes in CPQ for our Client Solutions department supporting base customers. The ideal candidate will be eager to get hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced team. This person should have a proven track record of producing accurate work under quick deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and assess the financial impact of proposed deals, considering pricing, discounting, and other terms.
Mitigate risks associated with deal terms and escalate issues as necessary.
Utilize data analytics to evaluate the performance of deals and provide insights for decision-making.
Generate regular reports on deal metrics and key performance indicators.
This role is equivalent to the responsibilities of an Associate Manager. They will perform the duties in accordance.
Manage daily operations of the Deal Desk CPQ Team.
Lead and manage a team of Deal Desk CPQ Analysts.
Support Client Solutions on standard and complex Salesforce Configure Price Quote (CPQ) configurations.
Review and ensure CPQ accuracy on all Change Orders and replacement contract requests.
Develop and refine processes and procedures across quote to cash with a focus on quality and efficiency of work.
Leverage dashboards and reporting to proactively identify and drive initiatives to remedy order structing gaps and improve efficiencies.
Identify and escalate issues as necessary
Possess strong level of expertise in Salesforce.com and Salesforce CPQ
Maintain an agreed upon service level agreement on quote turnaround times.
Develop relationships and coordinate with Client Solutions, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Contract Operations, and Billing to enforce and create best practice processes.
Train Deal Desk CPQ team members on new functionalities as well as onboard all new analysts to the team.
Qualifications:
9-11 years’ experience working with or supporting quote to cash process
Bachelor’s degree in a business or finance related field
CRM, CPQ and billing system experience required. Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ and Workday experience preferred
Strong ability to use data to understand workflows, staff performance and assess operation effectiveness
Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills
Strong verbal as well as written communication skills
Keen eye for details
Proven ability to lead and manage people to accomplish a common goal
Capable of prioritizing workload and performing in a dynamic environment
