Job Summary
Centerline is expanding and our EV projects keep coming! We are seeking an experienced, licensed Electrical Engineer , PE or EIT certified. The Electrical Engineer, PE will be responsible for designing electrical services for communications facilities including performing fault calculations and voltage drop calculations.
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience with power design, inclusive of incoming power (i.e. apartments, hotels, commerical projects etc.) and well versed in MEP(Mechanical Electric Plumbing) and AutoCad. EV charging experience preferred. Ideal candidate will work in a hybrid work environment, located within commuting distance to Roswell, GA or Houston TX, however experienced candidates will be considered for remote opportunity.

Responsibilities:
What You Will Do
- Perform electrical load calculations
- Design feeder and branch circuits
- Perform Voltage Drop and Arc Fault calculations
- Analyze interior and exterior lighting design and photometric analysis
- Work on life safety design for lighting and fire alarm
- Perform energy calculations
- Maintain client relations
- Must be comfortable with up to 10% travel
Qualifications:
What You Will Need
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited Engineering School. PE/EIT Certified.
- 5+ years experience in electrical system design for commercial buildings.
- Extensive proficiency using AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT, MS Word, and MS Excel
- Experience working in multi-discipline teams
- Experience working with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
- Proven demonstration of task ownership and the ability to meet technical requirements and work schedule
- Basic knowledge and a general understanding of the National Electrical Code and building codes related to engineering design
- An understanding of the physical demands - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit at a computer workstation and work for prolonged periods; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
Position Type
This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
