As a Heat Treating Auditor, you will leverage your extensive practical and technical expertise in various materials and processes, including but not limited to steels, aluminum, titanium, heat-resisting alloys, brazing, carburizing, and nitriding. In the role of Heat Treatment Auditor, you will assume a crucial position in conducting audits nationally and/or internationally, providing invaluable insights into Heat Treating processes. Qualifications:

The ideal auditor candidate will possess most of the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field related to Heat Treating and five (5) years in technical field related to heat treating
    OR:
  • High School Diploma and 10 years heat treating and/or brazing experience, in the Aerospace, Medical, Transportation or Power Generation industries
  • Hands-on experience with some of the following heat treating materials and processes: steels, aluminum, titanium, heat resisting alloys, brazing, carburizing and nitriding
  • Knowledge and experience of laboratory testing requirements such as mechanical testing and metallurgical evaluation would be advantageous
  • Familiarity with AMS 2750 and / or CQI 9
  • Familiarity with Industry Specifications
