The Data Team at PandaDoc is currently overhauling existing processes and creating a cutting-edge insights infrastructure from the ground up. We have a reporting line directly to the CTO and co-founder of PandaDoc, so we have an ideal environment for visibility and impact generation.
Currently, we have 2 teams inside the Data organization: Analytics (Marketing, Revenue & Product) and Data Engineering (Data & Analytics Engineering). As a Senior Analytics Engineer you will join the Data Engineering team, reporting directly to the Director of Data Engineering.
We have two main priorities for the 2024 year:

- Generate impact by using data to find and address the biggest opportunities and key problems in different areas of the business
Our Vision is to be the source of data and go-to recommendation engine for departments across the company... we just need you to join us and help us get there!
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Product Data Analysts and Data Engineers on data model requirements (metrics, dimensions, business logic) related to our product data (events, how customers use our product)
- Build and own foundational data models that will serve various downstream applications (dbt + Snowflake)
- Improve data quality, by developing business data observability strategies and alerts for different areas in the company (Monte Carlo)
- Help define the Analytics Engineering function within the company, creating processes and standards
- Help define best practices for Snowflake, dbt, and data modeling
- Document all dimensions, metrics, and business logic (Select Star)
- Cooperate closely with Data Engineers to make sure we create best-in-class infrastructure
- Foster collaboration with Product Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers and Data Engineers to achieve common goals
Ideal requirements
