Job description

Title: Okta Technical Architect
Location: Remote-US
Duration: 6 to 9 Months

Must Skills: Okta, Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes

Top Skills:
• Demonstrated experience in the analysis, architecture design, configuration, integration, and implementation of a large-scale complex application system or program.
• Demonstrated experience with the implementation of newer technologies and services (containerization, Azure services, GitHub, etc.) and standard Microsoft services (SQL SSRS, IIS, etc.)
• Experience in the design, maintenance, and support of application Software Development Life Cycle and Code Repository systems or services.
• Experience implementing Okta for application authentication and authorization.

Preferred Experience:


• Securing applications through authorization and authentication using Okta
• Design, and implementation experience with Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes;
• Practical knowledge of MS SQL SSRS, SSI, and SSAS services.
• Software development tools such as Visual Basic, VB.Net, ASP.Net, Visual Studio, JAVA Script, NodeJS, Web Services, Stored Procedures, and HTML

Job Description:


• The goal for this position is to provide the most advanced level of technical expertise and leadership for the implementation of new solutions and the management of all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• The primary responsibility of this position is to serve as Technical Architect to lead the efforts in building new applications or services that modernizes existing infrastructure, provides technical guidance, implements best practices, and follows the agency's defined policies and standards.
• The candidate will require knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Web applications architecture, software development tools such as Visual Basic, VB.Net, ASP.Net, Visual Studio, JAVA Script, NodeJS, Web Services, Stored Procedures, and HTML
• This position will partner with multiple stake holders and development teams on the technical infrastructure, application design, coding, and security for multiple applications, systems, and services.
• This position is expected to work with little supervision to create and enforce application security, design, and configure runtime containers, assist in CI/CD processing, advise on SQL Server configuration, and design, and advise on IIS configuration and design.
• This position requires knowledge of and experience with architecting multi-layered web applications; creating estimates for analysis, design, configuration, testing and implementation tasks; methods used to install, configure, and maintain large complex web application infrastructure; and knowledge methods required to create detailed project/system plans.
