Partner Integration Architect

We are the team that enables customers to purchase insurance policies direct online. We support our marketing initiatives by delivering personalized customer experiences and we support our back office by creating efficiencies and continual improvement around their processes. While we started on this journey five years ago under the stable Berkshire Hathaway, we have not lost our touch with agility or the startup culture. We are looking for a Partner Integration Architect interested in working in a dynamic, fast paced organization.

Job Summary:

Contributing to a rapidly growing business segment, the Partner Integration Architect will work with internal and external stakeholders to define solutions that allow our partner organizations to integrate with biBERK systems and business processes.  Candidates will be effective at engaging with all contributors regardless of the contributor’s role, technical knowledge, and seniority in the organization. A seasoned, hands-on technical background is a must, to include the topics and technologies listed below.


  • Owns the approach for technical solutions related to biBERK’s partner relationships.
  • Contribute to the establishment of new partner relationships by driving initial discussions and technical briefings.
  • Actively seek opportunities to improve the partner experience and onboarding processes.
  • Proactively work with cross-departmental business and technology stakeholders to get consensus on the design of technical solutions.
  • Coordinate with developers, QA team, and senior business stakeholders to drive the implementation of approved designs.
  • Ensure that the product backlog for partner efforts is kept current and accurate.
  • Ensure that internal and external stakeholders maintain an understanding of backlog efforts that are planned and in flight.
  • Work with our partner team and technical education team to maintain existing and create new learning materials for our external partners.
  • Helps triage and troubleshoot issues that occur with our partner integrations, taking point when needed.


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Related field or equivalent working experience.
  • Strong communication skills are a must, given that this resource will be the face of partner-related IT for a broad cross-section of internal and external stakeholders.
  • 7+ years working in a technology environment, to include .NET, RESTful APIs, web and cloud-based technologies, and Agile methodologies.
  • 2+ years in a role that’s equivalent to the one described in this position description.
  • Ideally several years working in in Property & Casualty Insurance or other insurance industry.

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith compensation range estimate is being provided.  The salary range for this position is $95,000 -125,000 per year.  Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
