Job description

Our Client is a certified CAIE International School that provides a holistic global education that develops well rounded individual who are ready for the next chapter of their education journey. As part of their growth plans, they are seeking to hire dedicated, and experienced Principal to be part of their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsible for the growth of the School.
  • Provide academic and administrative leadership and oversight for all matters pertaining to the operations and smooth functioning of the School to ensure the quality of its student experience, teaching and academic standards and financial viability.
  • To manage, evaluate and supervise effective and clear procedures for the operation and smooth functioning of the School consistent with the philosophy, mission, values and goals of the School.
  • Overseeing all matters relating to programme and curriculum development, pedagogy, service delivery and administration.
  • To exercise general superintendence and leadership over the staff, to ensure proper implementation of policies and performance of the Schools functions.
  • Oversee the planning of the financial budget for the approval of the Board of Directors and to manage the implementation of the budget for the institution.
  • To be responsible for maintaining the necessary quality standards and relevance of all academic programmes offered, including ensuring that these programmes meet requirements of the Ministry of Education, the Board of Governors and/or other bodies, as may be applicable.

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum qualification of Bachelors degree with professional teaching qualification.
  • Proven and extensive experience in teaching upper secondary students and school management experience is essential.
  • Experience in IGCSE syllabus and Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) would be an added advantage.

Remunerations & Benefits:

  • Basic Salary up to RM15,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
