Guidewire InsuranceSuite Senior Developer:

Job Description:

 

Skills:

·        7+ Years of GW InsuranceSuite Configuration and/or Integration experience

·        Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform standards,  Guidewire APD (Advanced Product Designer)

·        Experience with full SDLC in an iterative (Agile) development lifecycle as used in GW implementations.

·        Hands on GW Implementation Proficiency and Experience in GW Configuration Development - Expertise configuring and developing several areas of InsuranceSuite

·        Robust understanding of InsuranceSuite Data-Models

·        Experience in GW Configuration Development (Expertise in Gosu, Rules Engine, Data Model, PCF, Wizards, Workflows, Activities and Product Model development)

·        Experience with XML, GUnit, Jenkins, GIT/Subversion/TFS, Code Coverage and Code Scan Plugin/Tools

·        Experience with Application Servers like WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss and/or Tomcat

·        Experience with Database Servers like SQL Server or Oracle

·        Leadership – Assertive, sharp with ability to inspire, bring out the best in individuals and develop a strong configuration team to deliver quality configurations.

·        Excellent communication skills, Onsite – Offshore co-ordination

·        Insurance Industry and Domain Knowledge

·        Mentorship of Team Members

 

Roles & responsibilities:

·        Assist onsite configuration team in estimations, proof of concepts, definition, designs of robust and efficient configuration solutions.

·        Prepare/Enhance Detailed Design Documentation (Field Mapping, Data Model definitions, Rules Definition etc) as needed to support Configuration development.

·        Assist Onsite/Offshore teams and be responsible in solutioning of complex configuration by developing and demonstrating solutions using Proof of Concepts.

·        Configure/Build/Develop InsuranceSuite Configuration in accordance to the design documentation

·        Configure/Build/Develop GW Configuration components (Using Gosu, Rules Engine, Data Model, PCF, Wizards, Workflow, Activity and product model development etc.)

·        Identify and develop reusable framework, configuration components to be used as is on multiple projects

·        Unit and Functional Test developed Configuration Solutions using GUnit, Mockito – Automated and Manual.

·        Prepare Build and Implementation plans for configuration work stream and report configuration work stream status

·        Lead and manage teams of 5-10 developers and be responsible for team velocity in delivering configuration user stories on time

·        Work with external consultants & developers

·        Train and build a team of experienced professionals
