The Ford Pro Charging team is seeking a talented, experienced, and passionate professional to tell the Ford Pro story to potential customers! The Ford Pro Charging Solutions Sales Manager will be a subject matter expert on Ford Pro’s EV charging product portfolio and will be responsible for facilitating sales demos and training for prospective customers and channel sales partners including Ford Dealerships.

Ford Pro Charging hardware and software services are the main sales focus for this role, while there will be synergies and partnering with Ford Pro Intelligence’s team that focuses on overall software and productivity solutions. Successful candidates will combine software and charging expertise and empathy for the end user to attract clients and to develop the solution to their maximum potential. Additionally, ideal candidates will be hunters & relationship builders within the Ford of Britain teams and partner with Ford Dealership personnel to drive additional sales activity and to develop the dealership channel. Ford Pro Charging Solutions Sales Managers will be passionate about software and charging to sell the benefits, with the goal of meeting customer needs and enhancing the stickiness of Ford Pro vehicles and ancillary services. **

Responsibilities**

What you would be expected to do:

  • Conduct sales demonstrations to prospective customers (both in person and virtual)
  • Provide channel partner training to increase the knowledge level of sales representatives
  • Be the point of contact for new clients and channel partners
  • Assist with client support, as well as customer issue resolution as necessary to support a seamless, always-on experience
  • Support local dealership partners on sales opportunities within a specified territory
  • Generate leads through channel partners and close sales opportunities
  • Establish strong, positive working relationship with Ford Dealers and their commercial sales team
  • Manage prospecting, onboarding, and ongoing support efforts with prospective / existing customers
  • Provide voice of customer feedback on Ford Pro Products to the product development teams
  • Follow the defined Lead Management Process for documenting contact with customers
  • Travel required as needed to support customers and the Ford ecosystem
  • Have a working knowledge of the charging industry and solutions

Qualifications

We are looking for people who have:

  • EV/ charging sales background and experience - must have. Please only apply if you have charging or EV background/ experience
  • Software sales experience - must have
  • Electrification and charging experience - must have
  • Dealership/ Channel Management experience - preferred
  • Measured success and a proven track record in charging Sales
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of computer-based Applications, IT operations and SaaS
  • Software sales/training experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work well within and across multiple functions
  • Strong personal drive and competitive spirit to succeed in the marketplace
  • Desire to do what is right for the customer
  • Sales / service customer contact experience
  • CRM software utilization, preferred
