The Web Back-End Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining server-side web application logic. This role will involve developing back-end components, connecting the application with the other web services, and supporting the front-end developers by integrating their work with the application. Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side logic for web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Implement security and data protection measures for web applications
- Optimize applications for speed and scalability
- Utilize AWS services for application development and deployment
- Develop applications using Ruby on Rails, ensuring code quality and maintainability
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- A minimum of 6-7 years of overall experience in web development
- At least 2+ years of experience with AWS and Ruby on Rails
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining robust back-end systems
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must be fluent in English and possess strong communication skills
