About the job:

As a Business Analyst on our Platform team you’ll be responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions by performing requirements analysis & management, act as a facilitator between the Business and Technology in defining complete technical requirements, In depth experience working in an agile development environment and writing user stories.

This position can be remote in the US or hybrid from one of our US offices.

You'll be responsible for:

• Analyzing, defining, and documenting complex requirements and business processes.

• Developing complex systems specifications, process flow, and conversion strategies.

• Creating complex technical and functional user documentation.

• Contributing to the development of new tools, processes, and solutions to meet desired product needs.

• Following established business processes, protocols, and quality standards in the development and deployment of complex solutions.

• Maintaining stakeholder expectations and raise appropriate issues to project managers as necessary.

• Gathering business requirements and translate them into user stories/functional specifications.

• Identifying and documenting process improvements and functional specifications based on research of best practices and analysis of work group data.

• Performing analysis on existing systems; identifying options for potential solutions and assess for both technical and business suitability.

• Working between remote development teams, internal IT, and business to ensure requirements are being met.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience as an IT business analyst

• 5+ years experience effectively working with software development teams in an Agile Scrum environment

• Broad understanding of software development methodologies, platforms, tools, and languages.

• Strong communication skills that allow for effective communication across all levels of the organization.

• Strong written communication skills including process documentation.

• Experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into user stories/functional specifications on complex or large projects.

• Strong analytical skills

• Strong technical skills and experience working with Technical leadership
