Junior Accountant, Humble Bundle


Ziff Davis, LLC, is seeking a Junior Accountant for Humble Bundle. This position will serve Humble Bundle with a focus on general accounting and vendor management. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with an Accounting background to positively impact Humble Bundle operational efficiency while working in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Humble Bundle sells games, ebooks, software, and other digital content. Our mission is to support charity while providing awesome content to customers at great prices. We launched in 2010 with a single two-week Humble Indie Bundle, but we have humbly grown into a store full of games and bundles, a subscription service, a game publisher, and more. We have raised $197 million for charity and counting.

Key Responsibilities

Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts (including cash transactions and bank reconciliations).

Manage the processing and recording for accounts payable transactions (including Invoices and expense reports).

Establish strong relationships across the business unit’s departments and assist in managing the vendor creation processes, tax setup, and communications.

Be the face of the business for our vendor population; Develop an understanding of the vendors used by the business, related agreements and payment terms.

Assist in the month-end close process and other assigned department related tasks, as necessary, including balance sheet reconciliations.

Support the Finance team with ad hoc requests, including but not limited to, vendor sales report and file management


Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Sciences.

2+ years in accounting with a CPA or pursuing one

Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial modeling a plus.

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.

Proficiency with Oracle Fusion or similar experience with the vendors and payments modules of large complex enterprise wide ERP systems.

Fastidious attention to detail is critical.

Strong presentation skills as the candidate will be required to communicate complex information in a simplified manner

Able to work comfortably under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Salary Disclosure: Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,000 to $75,000, plus incentive compensation (for eligible roles only), 401K with company match, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, short and long-term disability, and a flexible time off policy.
