Join us in the cybersecurity business unit of Ziff Davis where you will help build and deliver top notch security solutions that provide online protection for home and business users alike. Our platform protects millions of customers, is growing rapidly, spans cloud and on-prem and covers a multitude of OS platforms.

We are looking for an energetic and motivated Android developer to help the Android application development team and improve our applications as part of our cross-functional team. You will be surrounded by people with experience in many areas and get the chance to collaborate and pair with them, learning new skills and mentoring other developers in a fast-moving, high-speed development environment.

We're agile from bottom to top and rely on our engineers to help direct the company with planning sessions, standups, and retros. We insist on clean code, automation, and unit testing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications for the Android/Android TV/FireOS ecosystem.

• Translate designs into high-quality code

• Create unit testing

• Follow code guidelines to provide consistency between different products

• Create clean, functional, and readable code

• Review peers' code

• Identify performance issues and bugs

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Skills/Knowledge

• Android SDK

• Kotlin

• Familiarity with Restful APIs

• Ability to understand different architectures and implement them

• Understanding of code guidelines and how to follow them

Requirements and qualifications

• Advanced English

• At least 2 year of Android development experience

• Problem-solving skills

• Team player

• Open to feedback and change
