Position Purpose: Provide leadership, direction and operational excellence within the Employee Relations Centers of Expertise (COE).Develop, implement and oversee effective investigation practices, case management protocols, stakeholder engagement and consultation across the Employee Relations COELead and develop robust and comprehensive data analysis and reporting solutions to provide actionable insight to business leaders and HR Business Partners
Collaborate and partner with enterprise lines of business, HR Business Partners, and within the Employee Relations COE to highlight key trends in employee relations and actively drive training, systems enhancements and process improvement
Provide direction to proactively identify risks, diffuse issues, provide employee and management consultation, conduct investigations, and resolve issues as they arise
Serve as an escalation point for complex employee relations matters and formal reviews by utilizing strong negotiation, conflict resolution, mediation skills, and experience
Work in collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure consistent application of the employee relations function
Perform quality control monitoring to ensure proper documentation of all formal reviews, to include managing consistent use of the employee relations case management system
Plan, recommend and balance resource alignment and workload across the Employee Relations COE teamEducation/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in human resources or employee relations with at least 4 years of experience directly managing complex employee relations matters and investigations. 2 years of experience in a people management role preferred. Experience and knowledge of best practices in conducting workplace investigations. Knowledge and familiarity with state and federal employment laws and regulations. License/Certification: AWI (Association of Workplace Investigators) certification strongly preferred; PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred
