Lead Data Architect (V)-Medicaid
CORMAC is looking for an experienced and highly motivated candidate to fill our Lead Data Architect opening. This individual will work with functions such as database architecture, engineering, design, optimization, security, and administration, data modeling, big data development, Load (ETL) development, storage engineering, data warehousing, data provisioning, and other similar roles.
Responsibilities
- Developing ETL solutions and supporting data strategy leveraging acquired subject matter expertise to identify/inform opportunities and risks.
- Creating physical and logical data models supporting new data warehouse development and architecture.
- Performing peer-reviews and providing technical support/guidance to the project team.
- Leading the creating/maintaining of ETL, reporting architecture/environment, processes/procedures, coding standards, and data management/security activities.
- Supporting the project director and leadership in project planning and executing activities, including presentations, risks/issues, and status reporting.
- Demonstrating deliverables to the team or the customers for approvals and gain buy-in to implement solutions or adapt to new products/services/programs.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management, or a related field; preferably with an advanced degree in one of the above.
- Healthcare Industry Experience, preferably Medicaid.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data architecture, analytics, design, and development.
- Demonstrated experience working with, and leading, high-performing remote teams and delivering to external customer.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) with solid communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Data Modeling
- Evaluation of existing data structures and documenting of the data model.
- Enterprise data management including data discovery, integration, and governance.
- Data architecture and design for both structured and unstructured data.
- Highly motivated and demonstrating excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Great oral and written communication skills.
