Utilization Behavioral Health Professional - Remote | WFH

Responsibilities

Collaborate and communicate effectively with providers, members, and other parties to facilitate seamless coordination of care.

Understand the strategic objectives of our department, segment, and organization, and recognize their interconnections with related areas.

Demonstrate autonomy and sound decision-making skills, even in ambiguous situations, while seeking minimal direction and guidance as needed.

Adhere to established guidelines and procedures to ensure consistent quality and efficiency in your work.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Valid and applicable state licensure in your area of expertise (e.g., LCSW, LMSW-ACP, LPC, or other professional license).

At least 1 year of post-degree clinical experience in private practice or other patient care settings.

A genuine passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in a related field.

Previous experience in managed care for at least 1 year.

Familiarity with ASAM, MCG, or Interqual Guidelines.

Subject matter expertise in Utilization Review of inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services.

Experience in behavioral change, health promotion, coaching, and wellness.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, including speaking, reading, writing, and interpreting documents.
